MENTAL AND PHYSICAL ROOMS

After a visit to Sachsenhausen outside Berlin, I began to think about being held hostage.Physically or mentally, by oneself or others.

These paintings were when exhibited, depending on each motive, hanged as an installation in relation to man height and the actual space. This move deliberately made to literally invite the spectator into a visual and physical space, where the boundaries between painting, installation and man vanishes.
